Discussion... 
clear and dry conditions across the region with temperatures 
trending upward 2-6 degrees from 24 hours ago. This warm trend 
will continue through the weekend as a ridge of high pressure in 
the east Pacific builds east over the southwest U.S. Models indicate 
some monsoon moisture reaching S California around a Four Corners 
high Sunday. However the middle level flow will be SW and unfavorable 
for convective development over the Sierra. Any cumulus build ups 
should should be shunted east of the Sierra. A large and broad 
upper trough pushes through the Pacific northwest early next week. 
Expect the trough to increase the onshore flow across north 
California and start a cooling trend Monday and Tuesday.
