Update...the cold temperatures of this morning have given way to 
a steady warming trend...with most locations now into the 40s and 
50s. At last check all major observational points avoided record 
temperatures...with most locations 1 to 3 degrees off the record. 
Overall...temperatures were 15 to 20 degrees below average. Have 
removed all pertinent freeze and wind chill products...as well as 
the Small Craft Advisory. High pressure with slackening winds will 
be the rule today...making for another cold night. A hint of low 
level moisture return is apparent off the East Coast with a wedge 
of strato-cumulus in place. The pressure gradient would favor some of 
this moisture working its way into central and southwest 
Florida...which will enhance the potential for an overnight frost 
in many locations.

Marine...north winds of 15 to 20 knots...with locally higher 
spots...will persist into the early afternoon before the pressure 
gradient weakens substantially. Have removed the Small Craft 
Advisory...and replaced it with a small craft exercise caution for 
all waters through middle afternoon. This evening and overnight with 
high pressure in control...expect winds to drop off quite a bit.
