Area forecast discussion
National Weather Service Tallahassee Florida
927 am EST Monday Nov 23 2009

Update...the morning surface analysis showed a high pressure
ridge axis extending southwest across the region to the la/Texas
state line and low pressure centered off the SC/Georgia coast. Latest
visible imagery showed an extensive low stratus deck over the
region with ceiling heights ranging from 300-1000 feet off the
surface. Although there could be some breaks in this deck through
the afternoon period...expect it to linger through the night
tonight and into Tuesday before clearing out from west to east.
High temperatures will range from the middle 60s to the middle 70s this
this afternoon. The previous forecast appears to be on track and
no major updates are anticipated at this time.

&&

Aviation...although LIFR/IFR ceilings and visibilities will gradually
improve through the late morning and early afternoon hours
today...expect MVFR ceilings to continue through much of the 24 hour taf
cycle. Above this very shallow stratus deck...clear skies should
be expected. Winds will remain light out of the northeast.

Tae watches/warnings/advisories...
