Area forecast discussion
National Weather Service Norman OK
847 am CST Monday Nov 23 2009

Discussion...
we will be extending the dense fog advisory for most of the County
Warning Area through 11 am. Some pockets of dense fog may continue
beyond that across west-central and portions of central
Oklahoma...but should be fairly patchy by that time. This
primarily based on latest RUC/hrrr output. High temperatures were
also lowered several degrees where we expect fog/stratus to
persist into the afternoon...mainly northern half of Oklahoma.

Previous discussion... /issued 610 am CST Monday Nov 23 2009/

Aviation...
dense fog and LIFR ceilings will persist over central and western Oklahoma
through late morning. Stratus clouds will dissipate slowly in the afternoon.
A cold front is expected to move through the western half of
Oklahoma by 240000 and continue to the southeast. Gusty northwest
winds will follow over western and central Oklahoma late
Monday/early Tuesday.
