Synopsis... 
high pressure will bring dry conditions through Saturday with a 
gradual warming trend. A weak cold front...along with increasing low 
level moisture will result in a risk of showers and thunderstorms 
Sunday and Sunday night.

Near term /through tonight/... 
high pressure will amplify across the region...with mostly clear 
skies and seasonably cool temperatures.

Short term /Thursday through Saturday/... 
high pressure will dominate through Friday...moving to the east 
by Saturday. Expect dry conditions to continue...with clouds increasing 
some by Saturday. With flow becoming southerly...temperatures will 
warm to above normal.

Long term /Saturday night through Tuesday/... 
medium range models/ensembles show an upper trough of low 
pressure to dig south of James Bay over the weekend...allowing 
for a cold front to affect the region Sunday/Sunday night. With 
the parent low still well into Canada...and moisture limited...think 
precipitation coverage will remain low. Will include low end chance probability of precipitation 
for Sunday afternoon/night along the frontal boundary for most areas. 
The cold front will exit to the south by Monday...resulting in dry 
and seasonable conditions for early next week.

Aviation /06z Wednesday through Sunday/... 
high pressure will provide for prevailing VFR conditions through 
Saturday...except for patchy morning fog each day. A weak cold front 
will cross on Sunday...bringing additional clouds and the chance for 
storms with IFR possible. Another high will then build in for Monday.
