| Synopsis For Long Island Waters And New York Harbor High pressure will remain ridged into the northeastern United States from the Canadian maritime region into Wednesday night. Meanwhile...an area of low pressure will track from near the Florida coast this morning...to south of Cape Cod by Tuesday morning...then to south of Nova Scotia by Wednesday morning. A complex storm system will approach from the Great Lakes late Wednesday...and develop a coastal low off the Carolina coast by Thursday morning. This low will then track northeast and intensify as it moves to the Gulf of Maine by late Friday. |
