A low pressure system over the Funk Island Bank will intensify as it

moves to lie northeast of the district this evening. Gale force north

to northwesterlies 35 to 45 knots with higher gusts are forecast in

the system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all

waters except northeast Gulf and Gulf - Port au Port.

Marine interests are also advised that high potentially damaging

waves and higher than normal water levels can be expected along the

northeast coast and East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis this

evening especially in areas exposed to the north.
