following 24 hours.



The approaches to Esquimalt are defined as the triangular area

bounded by Race Rocks, Trial Island and Esquimalt Harbour.



In the Harbour...winds light southwest becoming northeast 5 to 15

knots this afternoon. Winds rising to southwest 15 to 25 knots

overnight.

Outlook. Moderate to strong southwest.



In the approaches...wind southwest 10 to 15 knots becoming

light variable this morning then increasing to southeast 15 to 25 by

midday. Wind increasing to southeast 25 to 30 late this afternoon

then diminishing to variable 5 to 15 this evening. Wind

increasing to southwest 30 to gales 35 overnight.

Outlook. Strong to gale force southwest decreasing to moderate to

strong.
