Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Strong offshore flow across the middle Texas coastal waters will diminish later this evening. High pressure will settle into the coastal waters on Monday with a weak onshore flow developing by late Monday afternoon. Onshore flow will strengthen on Tuesday and Wednesday as low pressure develops in West Texas. An upper level disturbance will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday. A Pacific cold front will move through the coastal waters on Thursday with drier conditions developing in its wake.

Monday
Northwest wind 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet.
Monday Night
Southeast wind 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 feet building to 2 feet after midnight.
Tuesday
Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Tuesday Night
Southeast wind 15 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Wednesday
Southeast wind 15 to 20 knots becoming south 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
