Synopsis For Destin Fl To Pascagoula Ms Out 60 Nm Including
Mobile Bay-
Synopsis
The sharp pressure difference between high pressure over the southeast states and much lower pressure over the southern Gulf of Mexico associated with Tropical Storm Ida will maintain high winds and seas for the next several days. Ida is expected to move into the southern Gulf of Mexico Sunday night into Monday morning and continue moving northward on Monday. Ida will weaken as she moves northward but will still create high winds and seas. As the remnants of Ida move east of the area...a strong offshore flow will follow through mid week. Please refer to latest forecasts from the National Hurricane Center on Tropical Storm Ida.
